Applicants should submit their research program in one of the following fields:

1) Role of mitochondria in the adaptation to environmental stresses
2) Biodeterioration in ancient parchment: metagenomic study of the microbial succession process and of its main characters
3) Engineered microbial consortia for the rehabilitation of domestic wastewater
4) Movements of air and pollen masses in the urban environment: applications in "health medicine"
5) Microalgae adaptation to environmental stresses
6) Molecular bio-archaeology: multi-omic characterization of ancient human populations
7) A genomic perspective on the origins, evolution and adaptation of Galapagos Iguanas
8) Exploiting bacteriophages and components thereof as tools to fight multi-drug resistance bacteria
9) Conservation of a flagship species: tracking the Critically Endangered Pink Iguana from Galápagos to assess species distribution and habitat suitability models
